Dear Colleagues, The 7th EFAS Congress in Vilamoura Portugal will mark the 10th
Anniversary of the founding of EFAS. This is an important date for EFAS
and we want to make the congress in Vilamoura a very special occasion. The venue we have chosen offers superb congress, leisure and entertainment
facilities and has direct access to the beach so we hope that this will be

Congress
Venue - Tivoli Marinotel (5 Star) The
venue for the 7th EFAS Congress is the Tivoli Marinotel
Vilamoura. Surrounded by the
famous marina and a private beach, Tivoli Marinotel is a luxury 5 star
hotelwith a congress centre which has a capacity for 1200 delegates and
exhibition. Its position on the beachfront and the lively social and
nightlife of Vilamoura ensure that delegates can combine a working
congress with some relaxation and all this in pleasant October sunshine.
In 2007 Tivoli Marinotel launched Nikki
Beach Vilamoura and the glamorous club facilities and lakeside
restaurant adjoin the hotel. The Tivoli Marinotel offers guests excellent
facilities and has 2 outdoor swimming-pools (1 for children),
Indoor heated swimming-pool, Health Club (sauna, jacuzzi, solarium,
Turkish bath and gymnasium), 1 Floodlit tennis court and volleyball
court, Putting Green (12 holes), Children's playroom (baby-sitting on
request), hairdresser, shopping arcade (9 shops), WI-FI in public areas
and meeting rooms, Internet broadband access in the rooms and Free ADSL
line in business centre. Vilamoura is the name
given to an area rather than to an actual town and it covers some 2.000
hectares of land. Vilamoura is most famous for its busy marina which has
berths for 600 yachts and of course it lies at
the heart of Portugals golf region with some of the worlds best golf
courses on its doorstep. How to
reach Vilamoura By Air:
Faro
Airport is 20km from Vilamoura. SAS, BA,
Iberia, Ryanair, EasyJet, TAP, Jet2, Monarch, Maersk, German Wings, Virgin
fly into Faro. Taxi and
shuttle buses are available at the airport. Taxis cost c. 25-30 each
way. Lisbon
Airport is 270km from Vilamoura. Internal
flights are available to Faro Airport and trains operate from Gare
do Oriente, station. There are four trains per day Lisbon to Faro
return and journey time is 3 hours. REGISTRATION

has been reserved at the congress venue, Tivoli Marinotel, Vilamoura for
EFAS delegates at preferential rates.

programme of activities will be defined for families to choose from and
enjoy while staying in Vilamoura. All activities will be included on the
Registration form when prices are confirmed in 2008. Excursions are

Forms must be accompanied by payment in full for Registration Fees, Social
Events and Accommodation. Registration Forms submitted with no method of
payment and no evidence of Bank Transfer will not be processed. On-line

is required in advance for Registration Fees, Social Events and
Accommodation. Cancellations must be received in writing to the EFAS
Secretariat. Full refunds of Registration Fess (less 50 administration
fee) will be given up to 1st September 2008. As accommodation
is pre-paid to the hotel for this group reservation there are no refunds
available for accommodation cancellations.
